Affordable housing program lifts burdens off low-income group
The affordable housing program developed by the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) in the Chinatown International District (CID) has been a blessing to a lot of people within the working class.
As the country continues to struggle with the current economy, more people are in need of reasonable-priced homes. The affordable housing program is a great relief to the low-income group in the area.
“Chartered by the city (of Seattle) and created by the neighborhood, we work just like a non-profit organization,” said the executive director Maiko Winkler-Chin.
